Refund policy

A clear process for subscription charge reviews.

This policy explains the usual refund position for the QuoteStep monthly subscription, when a charge may be reviewed and how approved refunds are returned.

Standard refund position

QuoteStep is a monthly business software subscription. Subscription charges are normally non-refundable once a billing period has started, particularly where the account or service has been used during that period.

When a refund may be considered

  • A duplicate or clearly incorrect charge.
  • A payment taken after a cancellation should already have taken effect.
  • A material service failure that prevented reasonable use of the paid service.
  • A refund required by applicable law.
  • Another exceptional circumstance where QuoteStep agrees a refund is fair.

How to request a review

Email support with the account email, business name, charge date and a short explanation. Do not send full card details. Requests should be made promptly so the payment and account history can be reviewed accurately.

Approved refunds

Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method where possible. Bank and payment provider processing times vary, so the credit may not appear immediately after QuoteStep submits it.

Cancelling future renewals

A refund request does not automatically cancel future billing. To stop renewal, follow the Cancellation policy or ask support to cancel the subscription.

Statutory rights

QuoteStep is intended for business use. Where consumer cancellation or refund rights legally apply, those rights take priority over this policy. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
